The Women’s Phase I & II Residence

The Hiram Bingham Mansion

Situated across from the campus of Albertus Magnus College on a quiet street of historic homes, the Turnbridge Women’s Program occupies the storied Hiram Bingham House. This 20,000-square-foot, 30-room Spanish-style mansion was built in 1909 for Professor Bingham, noted archaeologist, discoverer of Machu Picchu, and eventual governor of Connecticut. This historic home provides an ideal setting for our rehab, in which the women of Turnbridge will feel welcome and at ease, and therefore able to immerse in the program’s many activities and offerings which are designed to support healthy thinking.

With its well-appointed in-house gym, art studio, yoga room, and other resources, women in the early stages of mental health and drug treatment have access to a range of services without the need to leave the comfort and security of the residence.
